49th District House races: Republican legislative candidates running for representative positions in the 49th Legislative District are teaming up for a campaign kickoff event at 5:30 p.m. June 28 at Cameo Cafe, 7703 N.E. 72nd Ave. The event will launch campaigns for Carolyn Crain and Debbie Peterson. State Rep. Paul Harris, R-Vancouver, will emcee the event and state Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, will be the keynote speaker. Tickets, including dinner and live music, are $15.
