MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer has left a game against Milwaukee with a bruised right quadriceps.

Mauer came out after a single in the seventh Sunday, five innings after he was dinged in a home-plate collision with Rickie Weeks, who was trying to score from third base on a grounder.

Mauer, who had three singles and two RBIs in the game, is day to day.
