CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox have pitcher Philip Humber on the 15-day disabled list because of a right elbow flexor strain and designated outfielder Kosuke Fukudome for assignment.

They have also purchased the contract of right-hander Brian Bruney from Triple-A Charlotte. The White Sox announced the moves before Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Humber, who was scheduled to start Saturday, pitched a perfect game at Seattle on April 21 but hasn’t been the same since then. He is 3-4 with a 6.01 ERA this season.

Fukudome had been on the disabled list since June 7 with a strained right oblique. He had seven hits in 41 at-bats, after signing with the White Sox in February.
