SAO PAULO (AP) — The Brazilian swimming confederation says Glauber Silva tested positive for increased levels of testosterone and has been suspended for two years, losing his spot on the Olympic team.

Silva qualified to compete in the 100-meter butterfly at the London Games.

He tested positive during a competition in May in Rio de Janeiro, which is where he had earned his Olympic spot.

The confederation said two other Brazilian swimmers were suspended for doping on Wednesday.

Flavia Delaroli was suspended for three months for testing positive for the substance tuaminoheptane, while Pamela Alencar was suspended for six months for testing positive for furosemide.
