Starting this week firefighters with Clark County Fire District 6 will be handing out “tickets” to kids who wear helmets.

The tickets, called “safe rider citations” will be given to children wearing a helmet while riding a bike, skateboarding or participating in other non-motorized wheeled activities. The tickets can be taken to McDonald’s restaurants for a free ice cream cone.
