DENVER (AP) — The Denver Nuggets have selected Turkish player Izzet Turkyilmaz with the 50th pick in the NBA draft on Thursday night.
Turkyilmaz, a 7-foot-1, 220-pound forward, played for Bandirma Banvit in Turkey last season, averaging 9.3 points and 2.0 rebounds. The 22-year old Turkyilmaz also is a member of the Turkish national team.
