An adult woman was sent to a local hospital after a Friday morning car crash in downtown Vancouver.

The crash, between an SUV and semi truck, was reported around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of West Fourth Plain Boulevard and Franklin Street.

Engine 2 with the Vancouver Fire Department responded. An adult female driving an SUV had some sort of car problem and was hit by a semi truck, said Joe Spatz, department spokesman.

The woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Spatz said.

The driver of the semi truck refused transport.

The Vancouver Police Department is investigating.
