It is the realm of the immortals, the place for the greatest players in baseball history.

There’s Lou Gehrig and Ted Williams and Stan Musial. There’s Mickey Mantle and Hank Aaron and Joe Morgan.

And any list of league MVPs would have to include Barry Bonds — regardless of what you think about him — because he won the honor a record seven times.
