Jansrud tops downhill training session again

KVITFJELL, Norway (AP) — Kjetil Jansrud led a World Cup training session on the Olympic downhill course for the second straight day Thursday.

The Norwegian clocked 1 minute, 44.85 seconds down the slope. Swiss veteran Didier Cuche was second, 0.48 seconds behind and Klaus Kroell of Austria was third, 1.06 behind.

Jansrud has seven career World Cup podium finishes, but none in downhill.

The downhill race is Saturday, with super-G races Friday and Sunday.
