LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — No. 3 Kansas heads into its regular-season finale Saturday against Texas having already claimed its eighth consecutive Big 12 championship.

The Jayhawks will be the No. 1 seed once again in next week’s Big 12 tournament.

They’re still battling for the same seed in the NCAA tournament.

Kansas appears to be a lock heading into the final weekend of regular-season games, but a loss to the Longhorns or an early out in Kansas City could shake things up dramatically.

The game against Texas coincides with senior night at Kansas. Tyshawn Taylor, Connor Teahan and Jordan Juenemann will be honored at Allen Fieldhouse.
