LYNNWOOD, Wash. (AP) — A Snohomish County sheriff’s spokesman says deputies searching a home east of Lynnwood, Wash., with a search warrant found what they believe to be C-4 plastic explosives and firearms as well as about 100 marijuana plants.

Chief Kevin Prentiss says the “military-style explosive” was found Friday.

He tells the Daily Herald that deputies then called in a Washington State Patrol bomb squad and the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force to help process the scene.

A 26-year-old Edmonds man was arrested for investigation of manufacturing a controlled substance.
