Woman killed on Prosser sidewalk was blind

PROSSER, Wash. (AP) — A woman killed on a Prosser sidewalk by a truck backing out of a driveway was blind.

Police say the death Tuesday of 63-year-old Eileen Bradley was a tragic accident. The truck driver didn’t see her.

Bradley’s husband, Steve Bradley, met with the driver Wednesday and told him he wasn’t to blame.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://is.gd/zCYGsS ) Eileen Bradley was known for her church volunteer work, tutoring, singing in a gospel band and her walks around Prosser with her cane.
