Hiker dies in 100-foot fall at Oregon state park

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon State Police say a 56-year-old hiker has died after a 100-foot fall at Silver Falls State Park.

The police said the man was from Woodburn and a frequent visitor to the park.

He was reported overdue late Friday, and park rangers found his body early Saturday.
