ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — The drunken driving trial for two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser begins Monday in Albuquerque.
Bernalillo County authorities arrested Unser in September after deputies say he was going more than 100 mph while racing another driver.
Authorities say his blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit.
Unser, known in racing circles as “Little Al,” previously pleaded no contest to a drunken driving charge in 2007 in Las Vegas.
