Andrus has another big game in Rangers rout

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Elvis Andrus singled, doubled, scored twice and had a sacrifice fly to help the Texas Rangers rout the Arizona Diamondbacks 16-3 on Tuesday.

A day after going 3 for 3, the star shortstop started out with two more hits.

Conor Jackson hit a solo home run and Nelson Cruz singled in two runs for the Rangers, who outhit the Diamondbacks 19-5.

Texas starter Matt Harrison threw two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and hitting a batter. Arizona’s Joe Saunders gave up two runs on five hits, including Jackson’s homer, in two innings.
