Bulls’ Hamilton day to day with shoulder injury

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Bulls say veteran guard Richard Hamilton is day to day because of a bruised and mildly-sprained right shoulder.

Hamilton left the floor about 90 seconds after Monday’s game against Indiana tipped off, walking directly into the tunnel leading to the Chicago locker room while holding the shoulder.

Seen by some as a possible final piece in Chicago’s championship quest when he signed with the Bulls in the offseason, Hamilton has been limited to 16 games because of nagging injuries. He’s fourth on the team in scoring at 11.3 points per game.

Chicago’s next game is Wednesday at Milwaukee.
