PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A Portland couple indicted in a December 2005 heist of $3 million from an armored car must remain in jail pending trial after a federal judge decided they are flight risks and have violated their pre-trial release conditions.

An FBI agent told U.S. Magistrate Judge Dennis Hubel on Tuesday that Archie Cabello and his son Vincent Cabello visited a Bellevue, Wash., safe deposit box last April to withdraw cash taken in the robbery. Hubel ruled that’s a violation of the release conditions set for Archie Cabello and his wife Marian Cabello. Their trial is scheduled April 30.

The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/t1FOos) that the couple were also indicted Tuesday on additional charges related to evidence provided to the FBI by Vincent Cabello, who is now cooperating with the government.

The younger Cabello recently told FBI agents where to find nearly $2 million he says he stashed in the Bellevue safe deposit box after the Portland heist.
