TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama heads into spring practice without a top tailback and receiver.
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said Tuesday that tailback Eddie Lacy will miss the spring while recovering from surgery for turf toe that plagued him much of last season. He says wide receiver Duron Carter remains suspended going into practices which start Friday before the defending national champions leave for spring break.
