Suspect identified in Spokane gang shooting

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Police have secured an arrest warrant for a suspect in Sunday night’s gang shooting in Spokane that wounded a man and a girl.

KHQ reports (http://is.gd/Mtsgdv ) the Spokane Violent Crime Gang Enforcement Team is looking for 21-year-old Abubakar “Abu” Samura.

Authorities say a 23-year-old man was wounded while standing in a yard in the lower South Hill neighborhood, and a bullet went into a house and wounded a 6-year-old girl. Both are expected to survive.
