CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — On the wall of the Harvard basketball arena is a banner designed to commemorate the school’s appearances in the NCAA tournament.

It lists 1946 — and then a whole lot of blank space.

The Crimson are going back to the NCAAs this year, clinching the Ivy League title on Tuesday night when Princeton beat Pennsylvania 62-52. It’s Harvard’s first-ever outright Ivy championship.

Last year, the Crimson tied Princeton for the crown but missed out on the league’s NCAA berth in a one-game playoff with the Tigers.

Harvard will hear on Selection Sunday who and where it will play in the first round.
