Deputies recover body from Willamette River

PORTLAND, Ore (AP) — Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies say they’ve recovered a man’s body from the Willamette River.

The body was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday and was recovered about two hours later, about 15 feet from the east bank under the St. Johns Bridge. The man’s identity has not been released.
