Police: Body pulled from Willamette is missing man

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is identifying a man found dead under the St. Johns Bridge as a missing Hillsboro man.

Deputies say 39-year-old Eric Michael Bowman was reported missing Feb. 28. Authorities say there was no indication of foul play and they’re still investigating the cause of death.

The body was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday and was recovered about two hours later, about 15 feet from the east bank of the Willamette River.
