Train kills person on Toutle River bridge

CASTLE ROCK, Wash. (AP) — A person has been struck and killed by a train on the Toutle River bridge near Castle Rock.

KLOG reports the train crew reported hitting someone shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Emergency responders found the body.

The Cowlitz County sheriff’s office is investigating.
