LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The International Gymnastics Federation says it has opened disciplinary cases against two judges over suspected mistakes made during women’s events at the 2011 World Championships held in Tokyo.

The federation says its disciplinary commission will meet in mid-April, and the two judges’ identity will remain confidential until verdicts are published.

FIG spokesman Philippe Silacci tells The Associated Press that world championships results and medals will not be revised.

Silacci says qualification places for the London Olympics are unchanged despite the disciplinary procedures.

The federation did not identify the events where the judging errors are suspected to have occurred last October.
