ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have signed their first two players in the free agency period, reaching deals with offensive lineman Mike Brisiel and cornerback Ron Bartell.

A person familiar with the negotiations said Friday that Brisiel got a five-year deal worth almost $20 million, while Bartell got a one-year contract that could be worth $3 million with incentives. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deals weren’t announced.

The signings come after Oakland released linebacker Kamerion Wimbley. The Raiders have released seven players, including five starters, this offseason as they rebuild under new general manager Reggie McKenzie and coach Dennis Allen.
