NEW YORK (AP) — Meb Keflezighi is looking to continue his resurgence.

Keflezighi will run a half-marathon in New York City on Sunday to prepare for the Olympic marathon this summer in London.

Keflezighi, the 2009 New York City Marathon champion, will be in a field with Dathan Ritzenhein, Marilson Gomes dos Santos of Brazil, Wesley Korir of Kenya and Deyisa Lilesa of Ethiopia.

Last year was a low point for Keflezighi.

He was without a shoe contract and none of the World Major Marathon spring races in Boston and London had offered him a spot to run. Keflezighi finished the NYC Half 13.1-mile race a disappointing 15th.
