Pedestrian struck at Portland intersection

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say a pedestrian was struck and critically injured early Friday at an intersection in southeast Portland.

Responding officers found the man shortly before 3 a.m. down in the street. He was taken a hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police located the suspected vehicle nearby and detained the driver for questioning.
