INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Toronto Raptors have sent guard Leandro Barbosa to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for a second-round draft pick and cash

The Pacers announced the move Thursday. Earlier a source familiar with the situation had said on condition of anonymity that Raptors guard Anthony Carter was also part of the trade, but that didn’t end up happening.

Barbosa, from Brazil, has averaged 12.6 points per game in his nine-year career. He averaged 12.2 points per game this season as a reserve for the Raptors.

The 29-year-old Barbosa was a first-round pick of the San Antonio Spurs (28th overall) in the 2003 NBA Draft and was traded to the Suns on draft night. Toronto acquired him in a trade July 14, 2010, from Phoenix.
