Shalom Chapter of Hadassah presents one-woman show, “An Afternoon With Golda Meir,” 2 p.m., Firstenburg Community Center, 700 N.E. 136th Ave. The event includes a dessert reception and raffle. The show tells the history of a person, a people and a nation through the eyes and words of Golda Meir, as portrayed by Joan Wolfberg. The show weaves a tapestry of drama and history into an educational, entertaining and inspirational tale. Cost is $36 for preferred seating, $18 adults, $10 students. * 360-727-3387.
