MARBELLA, Spain (AP) — Unheralded Spanish golfer Eduardo De la Riva shot a 4-under 68 Saturday for a one-stroke lead after three rounds of the Andalucia Open.

He was at 12-under 204 going into Sunday’s closing round on the Aloha course. A stroke behind were Italian teenager Matteo Manassero (68) and England’s Simon Khan (66).

De la Riva competes on the Spanish regional tour. The Andalucia Open is only his ninth European Tour appearance in four years, with all but one contested in his homeland.
