BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU players often ask coach Nikki Caldwell if she’s getting enough sleep because she’s still working hard on the court less than two weeks after giving birth to her first child.
Caldwell has not missed a game this season and will be on the sideline when fifth-seeded LSU (22-10) meets No. 12 seed San Diego State (25-6) on Sunday night to open the NCAA tournament.
They’ll tip off after the first game in Baton Rouge between fourth-seeded Penn State (24-6) and No. 13 seed UTEP (29-3).
