GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina junior John Henson will play against Creighton in the NCAA tournament.

Henson had missed the past three games after spraining his left wrist during last week’s Atlantic Coast Conference tournament. Team spokesman Matt Bowers said Henson would return for Sunday’s third-round game in the Midwest Regional, but it’s uncertain whether Henson will return to the starting lineup.

Freshman James Michael McAdoo has started the past three games for Henson, who is averaging about 14 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Henson is a two-time ACC defensive player of the year.
