Police investigate Monroe woman’s death

MONROE, Wash. (AP) — Police in Monroe are investigating the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found a by a dog.

Authorities were called at 4 a.m. Sunday after a dog that had been let out in the middle of the night discovered the body of a 59-year-old woman at a home.

The woman has been identified as Jacqueline A. Rothenbuhler. Police say she was found with signs of trauma to her body.
