OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Forecasters say more rain is in store for the middle of the country as wet and windy storms shuffle through the region again.
A slow-moving storm system that socked a corridor from Texas to Missouri on Monday could bring more flash floods, hail, strong winds and possibly tornadoes on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service issued a Tuesday tornado watch for parts of Louisiana and east Texas. Two tornadoes in the San Antonio area injured at least eight people Monday night.
A meteorologist with the weather service’s Storm Prediction Center says the storms are expected to stick around for the next few days, and then peter out as they meander east.
