OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) — A 37-year-old Dallas man pleaded guilty to sex crimes with a 15-year-old Lake Oswego girl that began with online chats.
Erik Christofer Sorenson was sentenced Tuesday in Clackamas County Circuit Court to three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of rape, sodomy and online sexual corruption of a child.
The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/kuLnvk ) he’s a former juvenile corrections officer who met the girl online and used video chats for sexually explicit displays that led to meetings.
The girls’ family says the experience turned her against the family and lowered her grades in school. She’s in therapy.
