Jesus Guzman hits grand slam in Padres’ victory

PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) — Jesus Guzman hit a grand slam, Cameron Maybin added homered and Will Venable went 3-for-4 and stole two bases in the San Diego Padres’ 10-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.

Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki hit his first home run of the spring, and second baseman Jonathan Herrera had a two-run shot.

Rockies starter Jhoulys Chacin allowed three earned runs, seven hits and walked two in three innings.

Rockies catcher Ramon Hernandez left the game with a left knee contusion after he was hit by a pitch in the second inning.
