A group of Skamania County teens plan to march Tuesday afternoon to raise awareness of the dangers of teen smoking.

Minors Against Smoking Habits (a.k.a. MASH) will march from Stevenson High School at 2:15 p.m. to the Skamania County Courthouse, where Commissioner Paul Pearce will read a proclamation about teen smoking, according to a Skamania County Sheriff’s Office release.

The event will be held in conjunction with a campaign to educate teens about the effects of underage drinking.
