Letter: Killing sea lions is wrong

The Columbian
Published: March 22, 2012, 5:00pm

I am saddened by the decision to kill sea lions in the lower Columbia River. A March 16 Columbian story reported, “Feds OK killing of sea lions in Columbia River.” I know that setting traps is hard to do and costly but there must be another way. Humans do not need fish to survive. It’s not a need. But for the sea lions, it does mean life or death.
