RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks have reached a deal with running back Kregg Lumpkin.

Seattle announced Friday it had agreed to terms with the backup running back, who spent the last two seasons with Tampa Bay. No details of Lumpkin’s agreement were released.

Lumpkin appeared in all 16 games last season for the Buccaneers, although his opportunities were limited on the ground. He finished the year with 31 carries for 105 yards rushing, but was more of a factor in the passing game, catching 41 passes for 291 yards out of the backfield.

Lumpkin is a bigger back at 5-foot-11 and 228 pounds and will compete to back up Marshawn Lynch after he re-signed with the Seahawks this offseason.
