MEXICO CITY (AP) — American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley scored in the 57th minute, giving Puebla a 1-1 tie against visiting Cruz Azul on Sunday in the Mexican Clausura.
Beasley, a member of the past three U.S. World Cup teams, has three goals this season and five since joining Puebla last summer.
Emanuel Villa had put Cruz Azul ahead.
