BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — Bellingham fire officials are investigating two suspicious restroom fires that set off a fire alarm and caused damage at Squalicum High School.

Fire Chief Bill Boyd tells the Bellingham Herald (http://is.gd/PEmqrQ ) that the school was evacuated Monday evening. Students involved in orchestra and other after-school activities where on campus at the time. No one was injured.

Boyd says firefighters found one fire in the trash can of a first-floor restroom that suffered significant damage. A second fire in a second-story restroom went out on its own.

The chief says the fires appear to have been set. Police are investigating with the help of the fire marshal.
