PRAGUE (AP) — Czech swimmer Michal Rubacek has been suspended two years for testing positive for a banned stimulant.

Czech swimming federation chief Vladimir Srb says the group’s disciplinary committee issued the verdict Tuesday.

Federation official Jan Novotny identified the substance as methylhexanamine.

The 25-year-old Rubacek will miss the London Olympics after competing at the games in Athens and Beijing. He holds the Czech records in the 50 and 100 meter butterfly.

He tested positive at the national championships in December.
