SEATTLE (AP) — A man who fell in the water from a small rubber raft was found about an hour later Monday night near the West Seattle ferry terminal and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore says the 25-year-old was using the raft to take supplies to a sailboat when he fell in.

Two Seattle fire boats and three divers searched with help from police and Coast Guard boats, a helicopter and a state ferry.

The man was found about 25 yards off shore. He was given CPR on the way to Harborview Medical Center.
