WA state trooper arrested for domestic violence

SEATTLE (AP) — A spokesman for the Washington State Patrol says a 37-year-old state trooper has been arrested by Monroe police in connection with a domestic violence incident.

Spokesman Bob Calkins says Trooper Jeff Muren has been placed on administrative reassignment while he is being investigated.

Muren has been with the State Patrol for eight years and is based in North Bend.
