Crews fight blaze at Tacoma plant

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Fire crews in Tacoma were working to extinguish a blaze at a pallet-recycling facility.

The fire broke out about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire department spokesman Joe Meinecke says no one has been injured, but there are reports of hazardous chemicals inside the building. The fire department closed down streets in the area while they tried to assess the danger.
