LONDON (AP) — A broken finger is not disrupting the training of Britain’s Louis Smith, the reigning Olympic and world bronze medalist on pommel horse.

Smith stubbed his finger on the high bar Tuesday and broke it. He told Sky Sports he expected to be out “about four weeks.” But he posted pictures of himself doing pommel horse routines on Twitter on Thursday, saying, “Training away doing routines still.”

Smith is one of Britain’s biggest medal hopes for this summer’s London Olympics. His bronze on pommel horse at the Beijing Games was the first medal by a British gymnast in almost a century. He won Britain’s only medal at the world championships last fall.
