SEATTLE (AP) — The University of Washington says Environmental Protection Agency chief Lisa Jackson will be the school’s June 9 commencement speaker at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.

University President Michael Young says it’s especially fitting to have Jackson speak because the UW was named the greenest school in the nation by Sierra Magazine last fall. The university also received a $40 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture last year to develop biofuels.
