Falling tree hits parked car in downtown Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A large tree in downtown Portland fell early Friday, crushing a parked car and breaking windows in an apartment.

KOIN reports (http://is.gd/gP6tQa ) no one was hurt in the incident on Southwest Park Avenue between Southwest Columbia and Southwest Clay Street.

Last week, another downtown tree fell, causing minor injuries to a woman walking on the sidewalk.
