Tacoma woman says she killed her 2-year-old

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A Tacoma woman who called police Friday and said she killed her son has been jailed for investigation of murder.

Police and an aid crew went to the house about 7 a.m. Friday and found the boy. Police spokesman Mark Fulghum (FUL’-jum) says he was pronounced dead at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma.

He’s been identified by the Pierce County medical examiner’s office 2-year-old Noah Walker.

KOMO reports (http://is.gd/f1i8o1 ) the mother has a history of misdemeanor offenses, including fourth-degree assault and solicitation for prostitution. She has no other children.
