Free campaign workshop May 10

The Clark County Auditor’s Office will sponsor a free workshop for people interested in running for office or working on a campaign.

The workshop, “Winning Ways to Run for Office — A Candidate/Campaign Worker Workshop,” will be 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St.Speakers will describe what it takes to carry out an effective campaign for a candidate or issue, according to a news release.Several panels of experts will describe what it takes to carry out an effective campaign for a candidate or issue in Clark County.

Time will be available for questions and answers during the program as well as during an informal reception following the workshop.
